| Summary, etc. | The ultimate goal of IMDEA Networks is to produce high quality research results that contribute to a knowledge-based economy. Our strategy to transfer scientific and technological developments to industry over the last year has led to various new collaborations in addition to strengthening the existing partnerships with some of our key industrial collaborators. Our achievement on this front has been recognized by the Spanish Association of Telecommunication Engineers (AEIT), which awarded to IMDEA Networks the AEIT 2018 Award for Innovation. AEIT is the twin organization of the Spanish Official College of Telecommunication Engineers (COIT). It brings together over 8,000 members and is extremely well respected. This award recognizes IMDEA Network's contribution to a productive economy based on knowledge and technology arising from the field of telecommunication |
