| Summary, etc. | La conectividad digital constituye un factor clave para el desarrollo de la actividad económica, para el aumento de la productividad, para el impulso a la innovación y para la vertebración territorial y social. España cuenta hoy con una importante red de banda ancha y de infraestructuras digitales muy extendida en el territorio, gracias a los programas de inversiones públicas y privadas. El papel del sector público ha resultado y deviene especialmente relevante en dos aspectos principales: favorecer la inversión y garantizar el desarrollo equilibrado. Esta visión, que pone en primer plano la transformación digital y por lo tanto la conectividad necesaria para su desarrollo, se ha visto reforzada y acelerada por el impacto de la COVID-19 y es compartida desde el ámbito europeo. |
