| Summary, etc. | El informe señala que la pandemia de la COVID-19, y su efecto sobre las formas de trabajar y sobre la economía global, ha puesto de manifiesto las insuficiencias de las actuales estructuras económicas para hacer frente al creciente desajuste entre las habilidades actuales de las personas y las necesarias para los trabajos de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial. Ofrece un análisis cuantitativo del impacto que la mejora de las competencias puede tener en el crecimiento económico. Se ha utilizado el Producto Interior Bruto (PIB) para este análisis porque es la medida económica más utilizada en la actualidad, pero que no cuenta toda la historia. Por eso la investigación se complementa con un análisis cualitativo que analiza la necesidad de un nuevo pensamiento económico apoyado en el desarrollo de buenos empleos: trabajos seguros, con una remuneración justa, razonablemente estables y motivadores, y que hagan hincapié en las habilidades y características de los trabajadores, lo que permitiría alcanzar mayores niveles de productividad. |
