| Summary, etc. | La pandemia de COVID-19 demostró la centralidad de la salud de la población para las economías y el bienestar social, a la vez que evidenció serios problemas estructurales de larga data en los sistemas sanitarios. En América Latina y el Caribe (ALC), se destacaron serias deficiencias en dimensiones básicas como calidad, resultados, costos y equidad. Hoy, los países deben gestionar la complejidad cada vez mayor de sus sistemas sanitarios mientras hacen frente a una crisis económica sin precedentes. Este documento aborda cada aspecto del proceso de Transformación Digital, comparte evidencia, prácticas y recomendaciones concretas, identifica el conjunto de actores que pueden y deben participar y delinea los elementos prácticos necesarios para que cada país pueda construir esta crucial trayectoria. |
