| Summary, etc. | Según el Informe Global 2023/2024 del Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), la educación empresarial en la mayoría de las economías sigue siendo considerada deficiente por los expertos nacionales en iniciativa empresarial. Han pasado 25 años desde que GEM comenzó a evaluar la situación del espíritu empresarial en el mundo. En este tiempo, dicho espíritu se ha hecho un hueco en la escena mundial como componente clave de la salud de las economías de todo el mundo. Sin embargo, algunos indicadores, como la educación empresarial, no han cambiado mucho con el tiempo, por lo que requieren una mayor actuación de los responsables políticos y otras partes interesadas.<br/><br/>La encuesta realizada en el informe se llevó a cabo en 46 economías, que representan casi el 60% de la población mundial actual y el 70% del PIB mundial. Más de 136.000 personas respondieron a las preguntas sobre sus actitudes, percepciones y actividades relacionadas con el espíritu empresarial. Además, otros 2.000 expertos de 49 economías ofrecieron sus evaluaciones.<br/><br/>A pesar de la mejora incremental en algunos casos, la educación empresarial en la escuela en la mayoría de las economías sigue siendo evaluada como deficiente, y fue calificada como la más débil de las 13 condiciones marco empresariales en 31 de las 49 economías. Entre los diferentes sectores, las economías con menores ingresos tienden a tener proporciones mucho mayores de nuevas empresas, especialmente en el sector de los servicios de consumo, donde los requisitos de entrada suelen ser menos exigentes. Asimismo, los expertos de la mayoría de las economías (37 de 49) calificaron de insatisfactorio el apoyo social a las mujeres. Sin embargo, en la mayoría de las economías (27 de 49), el acceso de las mujeres empresarias a los recursos, en comparación con el de los hombres, se calificó de satisfactorio o mejor. Por otra parte, los adultos que han abandonado una empresa en los últimos 12 meses tienen muchas más probabilidades de crear una nueva empresa en los próximos tres años. |
