| Summary, etc. | Space: the new battleground of modern warfare analiza cómo el espacio se ha convertido en un nuevo entorno estratégico para la defensa y la seguridad internacional. Este informe parte del creciente protagonismo de las capacidades espaciales en conflictos recientes y de la vulnerabilidad de las infraestructuras críticas frente a amenazas emergentes.<br/><br/>Durante su desarrollo, abordan aspectos como la proliferación de satélites, la entrada de actores privados, la congestión orbital y los sistemas antisatélite. También se examinan los riesgos asociados a los ciberataques y a la dependencia tecnológica en comunicaciones, vigilancia y navegación. El documento destaca la complejidad de proteger los activos espaciales y la necesidad de dotarse de estrategias de resiliencia, tanto a nivel técnico como institucional.<br/><br/>Como orientación, se propone avanzar hacia una cooperación internacional más sólida para evitar la militarización descontrolada del espacio. Se recomienda reforzar las capacidades defensivas, garantizar la redundancia de sistemas y actualizar los marcos legales que regulan su uso, priorizando la seguridad colectiva y la estabilidad global. |
