Se examinan cuatro iniciativas en Nepal, Sudáfrica, Etiopía y Uganda, evaluando su alcance en términos de inclusión digital, género y juventud.<br/><br/>La metodología empleada incluye encuestas telefónicas a entre 400 y 1.000 personas usuarias por proyecto, entrevistas con actores clave, grupos focales y revisión documental. Las soluciones estudiadas abarcan desde asesoramiento agrícola por SMS hasta servicios financieros digitales, pasando por alarmas contra incendios y plataformas de empleo. Se observa que, aunque las personas beneficiarias no pertenecen al quintil más pobre, sí provienen de sectores económicamente vulnerables con acceso básico a dispositivos móviles y cierta alfabetización digital.<br/><br/>El informe concluye que las startups apoyadas por el fondo han mejorado la resiliencia financiera y los medios de vida de sus usuarias y usuarios. Sin embargo, se identifican desafíos como la sostenibilidad a largo plazo y la necesidad de fortalecer capacidades digitales. Se recomienda al fondo ampliar su alcance a poblaciones más empobrecidas, promover la inclusión de género y fomentar alianzas locales para maximizar el impacto. |
