| Summary, etc. | Facilitating remote and virtual access provision by European research infrastructures analiza las lecciones aprendidas durante la pandemia en relación con el acceso remoto y virtual a infraestructuras científicas en Europa. Parte del reconocimiento de que este tipo de acceso permite a la comunidad investigadora utilizar recursos sin necesidad de presencia física, ampliando la equidad, reduciendo barreras geográficas y facilitando la continuidad operativa en situaciones críticas.<br/><br/>El documento distingue entre tres dimensiones: acceso remoto (envío de muestras o control de instrumentos a distancia), acceso virtual (interacción con datos digitales y herramientas online) y formación remota (capacitación en línea para personal técnico y usuarios). Para cada modalidad se identifican ventajas, limitaciones y recomendaciones específicas, como la necesidad de mejorar la ciberseguridad, la estandarización de datos, la interoperabilidad, y el desarrollo de marcos regulatorios armonizados, especialmente para el envío internacional de muestras. También se propone fortalecer el papel de las infraestructuras en la construcción de comunidad y diplomacia científica, incluso en formatos híbridos.<br/><br/>El informe concluye que el acceso remoto y virtual es una oportunidad estratégica para modernizar la investigación en Europa, pero requiere planificación, inversión y gobernanza adaptadas. Se recomienda valorar de forma equilibrada los modelos presenciales y digitales, apoyar al personal técnico y diseñar políticas que fomenten un ecosistema sostenible, interoperable y centrado en las personas. |
