Parte del reconocimiento de que el cambio climático, junto a la falta de acceso a información y servicios financieros, debilita la seguridad alimentaria y limita las capacidades de adaptación de las comunidades rurales.<br/><br/>El informe describe cómo la plataforma digital Crop2Cash utiliza canales accesibles como USSD y una línea de asistencia agrícola apoyada en inteligencia artificial para ofrecer información sobre prácticas agrícolas sostenibles, previsiones meteorológicas, acceso a insumos y pagos digitales. La solución también facilita el vínculo con entidades financieras, promoviendo la inclusión financiera formal. En su implementación, ha llegado a más de 500 000 personas productoras, mejorando su acceso a crédito, rendimiento de cultivos e ingresos.<br/><br/>En conjunto, el documento concluye que las tecnologías móviles bien diseñadas pueden desempeñar un papel clave en la adaptación al cambio climático. Crop2Cash demuestra que combinar innovación digital, enfoque local y alianzas estratégicas puede contribuir de forma efectiva a una agricultura más resiliente, inclusiva y sostenible.<br/> |
