Elaborado por el Center for the Governance of Change de IE University, el estudio examina el papel de las tecnologías digitales en la competencia entre potencias y en la reorganización del poder económico y político. Su objetivo es entender cómo infraestructuras digitales, datos y plataformas tecnológicas se han convertido en elementos estratégicos para la influencia internacional.<br/><br/>El documento señala que tecnologías como la inteligencia artificial, las redes de conectividad avanzada y la computación en la nube están redefiniendo la relación entre economía, seguridad y política internacional. El control de infraestructuras digitales, el acceso a datos y la capacidad de innovación tecnológica se han convertido en factores determinantes para la competitividad de los países. Además, el informe destaca la creciente rivalidad tecnológica entre grandes potencias y el papel de la regulación en la configuración del ecosistema digital global.<br/><br/>El estudio concluye que los gobiernos deberán adaptar sus estrategias para gestionar los riesgos y oportunidades derivados de la transformación digital.
