This report first describes the opportunity to leverage a powerful digital ecosystem for improving lives, and the role that the GSMA plays to catalyse these solutions through our GSMA Innovation Fund. It then discusses the specific kinds of innovations the upcoming GSMA Innovation Fund for Digital Urban Services will target based on insights from our work, and areas where more evidence is needed, with a final focus on the need for these solutions for a low-carbon and climate-resilient future. Lastly, we showcase the impact of our work to date driving digital solutions for energy, water and sanitation services through the Digital Utilities programme.
