The survey found that the proliferation of digital, both as a means of exchange and as value storage, has expanded significantly. This is especially true regarding new business models that are based around digital assets. In response, most in the industry now see digital assets (and particularly their underlying blockchain technologies) as not just a strategic priority but also a future business need. This will have a profound impact on how financial service industries operate and develop new “business as usual” models.
