La identificación temprana de las tecnologías emergentes de hoy en día es clave para el diseño de nuevas políticas por parte de los formuladores de políticas, quienes deben ser conscientes de las tecnologías potencialmente disruptivas o del desarrollo científico lo antes posible para desarrollar políticas bien adaptadas que aseguren un entorno comercial estable para los actores industriales. y una sociedad segura para que vivan los ciudadanos. Este informe presenta una lista de 93 señales débiles en 2021. Estos primeros signos de tecnologías o productos emergentes se detectaron mediante minería de texto, técnicas de agrupación e indicadores cienciométricos aplicados en un corpus de publicaciones científicas arbitradas (Scopus).
