They explore whether and how emerging technologies could be used to tackle challenges that educators throughout the EU have identified as preventing them from delivering quality education and training. By emerging technologies we mean a wide range of applications and services that take advantage of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual and Augmented and Mixed Reality, social robotics and wearable technology such as head mounted displays and sensors The report is aimed at people involved in education and training to support policy-making and to foster further discussions with the goal of helping better envision, debate and act upon the future of the teaching profession
