Tanto la transición verde como la digital son prioritarias en las políticas de la Comisión Europea que marcarán el futuro a largo plazo. Aunque estas dos transiciones simultáneas pueden reforzarse mutuamente en muchos ámbitos, no están automáticamente alineadas. El objetivo del informe es analizar cómo la Unión Europea puede asegurarse de que estas dos transiciones, la verde y la digital, se refuercen mutuamente. Para ello se centra en cinco de los sectores que más gases de efecto invernadero emiten. 1) Agricultura. 2) Edificios y construcción. 3) Energía. 4) Industrias de alto consumo energético. 5) Transporte y movilidad.
